I’m not sure what they were officially called Mary Lou, but they were quite common, and you can often still find them around at used furniture stores, yard sales, and basement rec-rooms.
Hi Chris,
I love this website and the pictures are just beautiful… I noticed the company name ‘the ottoman empire’ I was born in Istanbul ) you guys should definitely visit Turkey (if you haven’t already), so much inspiration on that side of the world (fabrics, leather, style, culture, furniture, rugs etc) anyways, please let me know when you are in Toronto, I would love to see you.
I wish you and your partner all the best.
Happy Holidays!
Love,

In the 4th picture from the top you have 2 brown chairs…is there a name for the one on the right? I have one upholstered in light blue/green.
I think my parents have one which they received as a wedding gift in 1967.

Great to hear from you Sue. Thanks for the comment and kind words. Hope all is well with you and your dance school.
striking and inviting ~ are some of these shots of a house on Stewart St. in Charlottetown ?
Indeed. We used to live at 18 Stewart St and that is the house that was featured in ECL. Thanks for the comment!
